When one talks about New York we always think of the city
but keep in mind that is just a small part of the state. New York has more to
offer especially when we go upstate. Fall is a great time to travel and there

When you reach
Albany, New York the state capitol you will have access to history, nature, art
and events that you can enjoy in ONE day! If you like architecture you should
stop at the Empire State Plaza. It
is a plaza of different government buildings which were all constructed
differently bringing a new level of architecture to the capitol. They also have
free events throughout the year. If you are more about views you can go to an observation
deck in The Erastus Corning Tower which is a part of the plaza. You will have
views of Albany, the Plaza and the Hudson River Valley.
A little bit of nature is always good for the soul and you can
get a taste of Fall at Thacher Park. This park is located 15 miles southwest of
Albany in Voorheesville and has trails, cliffs, they offer camping, rock
climbing and has playgrounds for the little ones.

There is so much to do in such little time. Albany offers amusement
parks, cruises, extreme adventure activities, sports, and orchards. If you want
