Welcome to Wanderlust Movement! So you might be “wandering”
(hah! Get it?? Wondering???) anyways, what is wanderlust? Wanderlust is a strong desire
to travel. Traveling to me does not mean I have to go thousands of miles to
explore something new, traveling to me is about experiences and sometimes we
overlook what is in our backyard. First up: Illinois.
I’ve lived in Illinois for 18 years and each year there is
something new to explore whether it be in the city, suburbs or in the middle of
nowhere. If you’re tired of always doing the same things when you’re going out
(movies, dinner and maybe bowling) this is a good opportunity to learn what is
going on in your state that you can’t easily find when googling “Things to do
in Illinois”. Illinois isn’t just corn fields and you don’t have to travel to
the other side of the world to find amazing views, excellent restaurants or
have the time of your life.
